Who we are
Hold My Umbrella films is a short film collective based in the north-west of ireland. We have made several short films and intend to make several more, and then ascend to a higher plane.
Mission Statement
We use cutting edge technology to create dynamic, proactive forward-moving boredom solutions. Our goal is the eventual domination of the planet earth and it's surrounding satellites through superior media production values. An ambitious goal it may be, but as a great philosopher once said, "reach for the stars and you might get the sky". Or something.
Core Values
At hold my umbrella, we value autonomy and financial independence above everything else. We make films for little or no money, relying instead on favors, voluntary work and open source alternatives. To date, our most expensive production has cost a grand total of €35.
